Care Philosophy
I am interested in applying my years of training and experience to assist you with your problems.
In order to understand them, I evaluate problems on multiple levels: biologic, psychological, and social. Solutions are sought at whatever levels are accessible. Treatment necessitates an active collaboration with the person or persons in treatment. Psychotherapy is a key part of that collaboration.
My full time practice includes individual, group, couples and family psychotherapy. Useful biologic treatments may be integrated with the psychotherapy.
Group Psychotherapy Goals: to increase awareness, both inner and interpersonal, with the Aim of enhancing conflict resolution and overall functioning. Methods: here-and-now interactional focus, role play, and exploring fantasies and dreams. Composition: Women and Men from early twenties to early forties
